Prochemia assists in the control of atmospheric emissions, an activity required to monitor environmental risk from manufacturing activities with atmospheric emissions of gases, chemicals, and particulates.

Asbestos and Artificial Glass Fibers

Prochemia performs analysis to verify the presence of asbestos on the main environmental matrices (air, soils, water, and waste) through the analytical techniques provided for by Ministerial Decree 6/9/1994 (MOCF, SEM, XRD). It also performs analysis aimed at classifying materials containing man-made vitreous fibers by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF).

Prochemia's technicians ensure the implementation of monitoring plans for the correct application of safety-related regulations, in full compliance with Legislative Decree 81/2008, as amended. They assist companies in choosing the analytical parameters to be researched, following the necessary sampling and analysis activities. The results of the analyses performed are then evaluated according to the regulations in force and the production process is monitored.
